A slightly distant port side view, taken from well abaft he beam, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) at moorings in Grand Harbour, Malta. She has an accommodation ladder rigged to a shell door amidships and boats are alongside it. She is flying the Blue Peter from the starboard yardarm and the code flag 'H' on the port yardarm on her foremast. The Royal Navy battleship Resolution (1915), seen from abaft her port beam, is also at moorings. She has awnings rigged over hers weather decks. Ricasoli is in the left background and The Royal Naval Hospital at Bighi is beyond the Resolution.
