A slightly distant port near broadside view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of the Royal Navy cadet training cruiser Vindictive (1918) anchored off San Juan, Puerto Rico. Her port anchor is deployed and she has awnings rigged fore and aft. She made two West Indies cruises as a cadet training ship, one between January and March 1938 and the other between February and March 1939.
