Slightly distant port side views of the cruise ships Calgaric (1918) and Resolute (1920) anchored in Isfjord, off Aandalsnes, Norway. The closer ship on the left, seen from just ahead of her port beam, is the White Star Line's Calgaric (1918) and she has lines of bunting on her fore and main masts. Her starboard anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged aft with a boat alongside it. Lifeboats numbers 4 and 6 have been launched. The ship on the right, also seen from just ahead of her port beam, is the Hamburg-Amerika Line's Resolute (1920). She also has lines of bunting on her fore and main masts, her starboard anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged to shell doors amidships. Her two aft lifeboats have been launched. There are mountains in the background. The negative is captioned "Naes" which is how tour operators described Aandalsnes. Negative number P85390 was taken on the same occasion.
