A distant starboard side view, taken from well abaft the beam, of the Cunard White Star Line cruise ship Franconia (1923) at anchor off Bali Island, Java, during a round-the-world cruise. She has an accommodation ladder rigged to a shell door amidships, two of her lifeboats have been launched and one has been swung out. The photographer is in one of her boats as it heads away from the ship and another of her boats is also heading away. Mount Agung is in the background. Negative number P85374 was taken on the same occasion.
