Passengers embarking in a motor lifeboat on board the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) which is at anchor in an unknown Norwegian location. Six officers are on the accommodation ladder which is rigged to the promenade deck. The photographer is looking down and aft from the port side of the aft end of the boat deck. Motor lifeboat number 14 is approaching the foot of the ladder. A vertical format negative. Negative number P85398 was taken on the same occasion.
