The starboard side of the stern of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Strathallan (1938) anchored off a Mediterranean coast.

The starboard side of the stern of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Strathallan (1938) anchored off a Mediterranean coast resort. She has an accommodation ladder rigged to 'D' deck and lifeboat number 15 has been launched. One of her boats is heading for the shore and a number of local leisure craft are near the ship's stern. The shore is lined with old sea walls and balustraded gardens. One building has a mosque-like domed roof but no minarets and other substantial buildings are built onto the steep hillside.
