A close view of the port side aft of the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) or Orontes (1929).

A close view of the port side aft of the Orient Line cruise ship Orford (1928) or Orontes (1929). Her accommodation ladder has been rigged to 'F' deck and an officer is standing at the top of it. The passengers are at the ship's rails with many of them looking aft and to port. Some are waving and some are clapping. The photographer is looking up at the side of the ship, presumably from a boat that is standing off.
