Three passengers on board an unidentified cruise ship in Naples Bay looking towards the volcano Vesuvius. They are on the aft boat deck and lifeboat number 19 is on the starboard side of the deck. The two women are wearing swimming costumes and the man is in trousers and is bare-chested. They are looking forward and to starboard over the forward guardrail of the deck and the guardrail is fitted with a canvas dodger. The Vesuvius is in the background.
