A slightly distant port side view of the motor lifeboat 17 and manual lifeboat number 7 from the Orient Line cruise ship Orontes (1929) in Sognefjord, off Balholm Norway. Both boats are seen from ahead of their port beam and the motor lifeboat is towing the manual lifeboat. The photographer is on board the anchored Orontes looking down on the approaching boats and the negative is captioned "Boat race winners". Negatives numbers P84614 to P84618 inclusive and P85487 and P85488 were taken on the same occasion.
