A starboard bow view of the excursion paddle steamer Medway Queen (1924) on a Eurosalve lighter in the River Medway between Chatham Ness and Sun Pier, Chatham.
A starboard bow view of the excursion paddle steamer Medway Queen (1924) on a Eurosalve lighter in the River Medway between Chatham Ness and Sun Pier, Chatham. She had been towed from Cowes, Isle of Wight, having been salvaged after lying sunk in the River Medina for a number of years, hence the poor condition of the hull and paintwork. She has been photographed soon after arrival and has a Eurosalve banner on her forecastle rail and another attached to her funnel.
