A slightly distant port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the steam tug Portwey (1927) laid up alongside a concrete lighter in Bridge Reach, River Medway, at Strood. Her funnel and machinery space ventilators are covered. The bow of the spritsail barge Cabby (1928), also seen from off her port side, is moored astern. Both vessels are in pristine condition. All Saints Church, Frindsbury is in the background.
