The spritsail barges Ena (1906) and Oak (1881) under sail while taking part in the Blackwater Match in the Thames Estuary. The Ena is on the left and is seen from wide off her starboard quarter. She has a white staysail but all other sails are red and she has the owner's cross on the topsail. The Oak is on the right and is seen from wide off her starboard bow. She also has a white staysail with all other sails being red and she has a Roment logo on her topsail. Both vessels are almost becalmed. Negatives numbers N86852CT to N86854CT inclusive were taken on the same occasion.
