A slightly distant port bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the 3 masted topsail schooner Malcolm Miller (1968) under sail in Chatham Reach, River Medway, passing Chatham Dockyard. Her sail marking is TS K2 and she is passing Thunderbolt Pier bound downriver. A red painted spritsail barge of Crescent Shipping is alongside the dockyard wall. Also alongside the dockyard wall and seen just beyond the stern of the Malcolm Miller is the tidal hulk of the paddle steamer Medway Queen (1924). On the left is the Julie-Sue (fl. 1985), a local fishing motor launch which is carrying passengers and has a large banner on her hull advertising Cutty Sark Scots Whisky.
