A starboard bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the spritsail barge Victor (1895) under sail in the Thames Estuary. She is sailing goose winged downwind in a very light breeze. A candy-striped staysail is boomed out to port and a spare white jib sail fitted to the peak of the sprit and the bulwark amidships is set to starboard. All other sails are red. Two other spritsail barges are under sail are in the left background. A vertical format negative. Negatives Numbers N86957CN and N86958CN were taken on the same occasion.
