A starboard bow view of the spritsail barge Victor (1895) under sail in the Thames Estuary. She is sailing goose winged downwind in a very light breeze. A candy-striped staysail is boomed out to port and a spare white jib sail fitted to the peak of the sprit and the bulwark amidships is set to starboard. All other sails are red.
