A close view looking down on the foredeck from off the starboard bow of the spritsail barge Centaur (1895) which is dried out on a mud berth alongside a jetty in Hoo Marina, Kent. The photographer is on the jetty close to her bow looking aft and to port showing the stemhead, side pawl windlass, her name of the rail, the fore hatch, the mainmast case and the port brail winch. Two men on deck are working on the forestay while the masts are lowered. Negatives numbers PCT14141 to PCT14145 were taken on the same occasion.
