A close view of the foredeck looking forward from off the starboard side of the spritsail barge Centaur (1895) which is dried out on a mud berth alongside a jetty in Hoo Marina, Kent. The photographer is on the jetty close alongside looking forward and slightly to port showing the mainmast and sprit lowered over the main cargo hatch. The mast case is in the centre of the picture with the forward horse between it and the forward cargo hatch. Two men are standing by the side pawl windlass working on the forestay. Negatives numbers PCT14141 to PCT14145 were taken on the same occasion.
