The afterpart of the wooden hulled spritsail barge Victor (1895) outboard of an unidentified steel hulled spritsail barge berthed on the mud alongside a concrete lighter in Hoo Marina, Kent. The photographer is looking across the deck of the steel barge showing her heavy four-spoke chaff cutter steering wheel and ahead of it is a steel box on which are mounted two metal wheels, one painted red and one green, obviously indicating port and starboard. The afterpart of the Victor, seen from off her port side, is in very clean and freshly painted condition. She has an eight-spoke wooden steering wheel and a GRP moulded dinghy is under the davits.
