A starboard bow view of the spritsail barge Ethel Maud (1889) on a mud berth alongside a steel lighter in Hoo Marina, Kent.

A starboard bow view of the spritsail barge Ethel Maud (1889) on a mud berth alongside a steel lighter in Hoo Marina, Kent. Her anchor is hanging over the bow and most of the anchor chain is on the foredeck abaft the side pawl windlass. Her eight-spoke wooden steering wheel is only just in the picture but her mizzen mast is not. Most of the hull is hidden by the lighter and only the foot of her mainmast is in the picture. A ginger cat is sitting on the main cargo hatch.
