GPS Antenna NavSymm DCD-LPR-G
This DCD-LPR-G GPS antenna was produced from about 1993 to until at least 2015 by NavSymm. A GPS Time and Frequency device was built into the antenna and designed to be fitted on the roof of telephone exchanges and cell towers.
The internal GPS receiver is a 6 channel XR5 based 3 board stack which can track up to 8 GPS satellites. Communication to the equipment below is via a fibre optic cable which provides good protection from lightning strikes.
