Microchip 0.4 mm ballpitch. This chip was developed for the NS4000 IP Generation of products and was used in PND's (Personal Navigation Devices) and mobile phones for E-911 and in-car navigation systems. It features a single chip GPS ME (Measurement Engine) with a fully integrated RF, containing 11 Track Engine channels and 3 Search Engine channels.
The Navigation PE (Position Engine) software runs on the host platform CPU allowing the ME chip to be smaller and lower power.
