There are nine boats in the picture, they are viewed from abaft the starboard beam and are racing downriver with colourful spinnakers set as well as their mainsail. Three of the boats have sail numbers 2, K5619 and K133. K5619 is named Funny Girl (fl. 1980) and K133 is the Akela-B (1974). Negatives numbers PCT14315 to PCT14325 were taken on the same occasion
