A distant port broadside view of the spritsail barge Scone (1919) at anchor in the Thames or Medway Estuary, Kent, on a calm and windless day. Her white staysail and red foresail are on deck, her red mainsail is furled, the white topsail is set and the white mizzen sail is also set. PREEDCRETE is being advertised on the topsail. Her port leeboard is down. An unidentified gearless motor coaster is at anchor on the left. She is in ballast and has a blue hull above reddish brown anti-fouling. Her red funnel is abaft a white wheelhouse and it has white lettering on it. Her bow is out of the picture and a number of people are on her deck. Negative number PCT14354 was taken on the same occasion.
