A slightly distant port near broadside view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of an unidentified motor barge just under way on the River Medway, bound upriver. She is a converted spritsail barge and looks to be an ironpot (steel-hulled) type. Her original mainmast is still standing between two cargo hatches and she has been fitted with a small wheelhouse aft. Her bulwarks and transom are painted blue, her hull is black and her upperworks are brown.
