A starboard quarter view, taken from wide off the stern, of the spritsail barge Ena (1906) under sail in Saltpan Reach, River Medway, bound downriver. She is rigged as a mulie barge, has a white staysail and is sporting the white X of R. & W. Paul Ltd on her topsail. The spritsail barge Scone (1919), seen from astern, is ahead of the Ena and has PREEDCRETE on her white topsail. Sheerness is in the right background. Negatives numbers PCT14381 to PCT14385 inclusive were taken on the same occasion.
