The Colchester oyster smack Kate (1883) under sail in the Thames Estuary during the Southend Barge Match. A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the Kate on the port tack with a white jib and foresail and red mainsail and topsail. She has her port registry CK139 on her hull and on the mainsail. Off the Kate's port side is a Westerly Windrush 25 (1966) sloop rigged yacht with the sail number 3. On the right is a Fairey Marine Atalanta 26 (1963) with the sail number 90.
