A port side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of four J. P. Knight motor tugs alongside a mooring barge in the east end of Saltpan Reach, River Medway. The fire-fighting tug Keverne (1960) is nearest the camera with the Kennet (1965) between her and the mooring lighter. On the far side of the lighter are the Kendal (1972) with the Knighton (1968) furthest from the camera. Negatives numbers PM2341/11 to PM2342/13 were taken on the same occasion.
