A port quarter view of four J. P. Knight motor tugs alongside a mooring barge in the east end of Saltpan Reach, River Medway. The fire-fighting tug Keverne (1960) is on the left with the Kennet (1965) between her and the mooring lighter. On the far side of the lighter are the Kendal (1972) with the Knighton (1968). An oil tanker is alongside one of the jetties of the Grain oil refinery in the left background. Negatives numbers PM2341/11 to PM2342/13 were taken on the same occasion.
