A slightly distant port side view, taken from abaft the beam, of the J.P. Knight motor tugs Kennet (1965) and Knighton (1968) under way entering the River Medway, Kent, bound in for Chatham. They are dressed overall and the Knighton has four of her hoses sending jets of water skyward from the towing deck. They are following astern of the Antarctic patrol ship Endurance (1956). Negatives numbers PM2347/8A to PM2348/18A were taken on the same occasion.
