Seascape
A sketch from a low viewpoint showing waves on a calm sea. The artist is interested in wave forms. He artist has used simple diagonal short brush strokes of varying shades of blue to show the underside of the waves. He has drawn undulating lines to register the tops. There is no sky present but a brilliant light cast upon the surface of the water indicates the presence of the sun.
