A slightly distant port bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the Rochester bawley Thistle (1887) under sail in the Medway Estuary bound upriver. She is on the starboard tack. Grain oil refinery is on the left and Grain Power Station is on the right with a tanker alongside the jetty. Negatives numbers PM2387/8 to PM2389/18 were taken on the same occasion.
