A close port quarter view of the single masted yacht Marine Scene (fl. 1984) aground on the south side of the River Medway, probably near Darnet Ness. She is listing over to port and has a 2 horse power Suzuki outboard motor projecting over the transom. Also projecting over the transom, which is decorated with painted patterns of leaf fronds, is a large sculling oar. Her mast and forepart are out of the picture.
