A slightly distant starboard near broadside view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of the bowsprit spritsail barge May (1891) under sail in Harwich harbour, off the west end of Felixstowe container berths, Suffolk. Her jib is white and her foresail, mainsail, topsail and mizzen sails are russet. Her white staysail has been stowed in her bowsprit netting.
