A slightly distant port broadside view of an unidentified former Dutch barge under sail, probably in the Thames Estuary. She has a bowsprit and a single masted gaff cutter rig with the mainsail set and the foresail on the deck. She is flying the red ensign and it is likely that she is a house barge cum yacht. At the time, the photographer was in a boat photographing the competitors in the Swale Barge Match.
