A distant port near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the staysail spritsail barge Decima (1899) under sail in the Thames Estuary during the Swale Match. She has her foresail, mainsail and mizzen sail set and her topsail is being lowered. The bob at the masthead appears to be the bob of R. & W. Paul Ltd. Negatives numbers PM2496/20CN to PM2496/26CN were taken within minutes of each other of the same barge.
