Study of an 'Iron Duke'-class battleship
A pencil study from broad on the port bow of an 'Iron Duke'-class battleship, as they appeared in the period 1914-16. It shows the ship's guns trained to starboard so may be a study relating to the Battle of Jutland, though there is no battle ensign flying.
