A distant port near broadside view, taken from just abaft the beam, of the staysail spritsail barge Felix (1893) under sail in the River Blackwater, Essex, with another unidentified barge nearest the camera. The Felix has all white sails and the other barge has an outfit of the standard russet coloured sails. They are both on the port tack.
