A slightly distant port bow view of three spritsail barges racing during the 1981 Blackwater Match. The race starts off Osea Island in the Blackwater and runs out into the Thames Estuary to the Wallet Spitway off Clacton before turning for the run back. All three of the barges have white staysails. The one on the left is the Scone (1919) and she has a white topsail with the PREEDCRETE logo on it.
