A port bow view of the bowsprit spritsail barge Mirosa (1892) under sail racing during the 1981 Blackwater Match. She has a white jib and staysail, is on the starboard tack and has the Blue Circle Cement logo on her topsail. The race starts off Osea Island in the Blackwater and runs out into the Thames Estuary to the Wallet Spitway off Clacton before turning for the run back. A vertical format negative.
