The Peninsular and Oriental Co office front at 15-16 Cockspur Street, London, SW1. The central door has the company motto "Quis Separabit" above it and on either side are fluted columns with an Indian lady on the east side and a Roman soldier on the west side. Both windows contain identical maps but with different displays of a ship model and illustrations. Below the east window is "P & O to India and China" and "P & O to Australia" is below the west window. Negatives numbers G4399 to G4401 were taken on the same occasion.
