Aerial view of the Battle of Jutland, 31 May 1916 (?)
This is apparently an imaginative overview of an episode during the Battle of Jutland, 31 May 1916. It may show the armoured cruiser 'Defence' blowing up between the two fleets, with the armoured cruiser 'Warrior' close to her and the battleship 'Warspite' to her left. Wyllie made something of a speciality of this type of constructed aerial view and even this fairly sketchy example has an impressive sense of extended space.
