A close view of passengers disembarking down a gangplank from the starboard side amidships of the passenger/cargo liner Chitral (1956) at Berth 21 in the Royal Albert Dock, London. Dockers are waiting at the foot of the gangplank to assist the passengers and one of them is lifting a pushchair. It is 09.00 a.m. and this was the last occasion a P & O passenger ship used the London Docks. Negatives numbers N85209 to N85217 inclusive were taken on the same occasion.
