A distant aerial starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the ore/bulk/oil carrier Kildare (1972) loading alongside the main iron ore loading terminal at Vitoria, Brazil. The Kildare arrived at Vitoria on 30 June and berthed on the finger pier. On 3 July she was moved across to the main terminal and sailed fully loaded on 4 July 1974. The photographer is looking east-south-east and alongside the north side of the finger pier is the bulk carrier Ziemia Kielecka (1969). She arrived 3 July and has only just started loading. On the south side of the finger pier is the bulk carrier Antonaki (1959) that also arrived on 3 July. Negatives numbers N85365CN to N85388CN were all taken on the same day, 3 July 1974.
