A slightly distant port quarter view of the passenger/cargo liner Mantola (1921) anchored and moored in Dar-es-Salaam harbour. She has her port anchor deployed and two mooring lines are out astern. She has an accommodation ladder rigged amidships and it is in the raised position. Beyond her bow is the Karanja (1948) and beyond her stern is the Amra (1938). All three ships are owned by the British India Steam Navigation Company Limited.
