The man is standing behind a table and seated on the stage are a British India Steam Navigation Company commodore, probably D A K Nelson who was in post at the time, another male officer and two female officers. One of the female officers is a doctor with two rings of braid on her sleeve. Negatives numbers N85414 to N85510 inclusive were taken during cruise number 56
