On board the cargo liner Waroonga (1957) while loading for Melbourne alongside a berth in the Royal Albert Dock, London. The ship is port side to the berth. The photographer is looking aft and to starboard from ahead of the open hatch number 4 showing a 90 ft long container on the deck to starboard of the after hatches. The container holds a Hawker Siddeley Dynamics Ltd Blue Streak rocket which is to be test fired at the Woomera rocket range in Australia. Alongside a berth on the opposite side of the dock, seen from off her port bow, is the strikebound passenger/cargo liner Ruahine (1951) in Federal Line colours. Astern of her is a Blue Star cargo liner and astern of the Waroonga is a Port Line cargo liner. Negatives numbers N85674 to N85684 inclusive were taken on the same occasion
