The photographer is on the port side of the deck of the crane abreast her wheelhouse looking to starboard showing a 3-axle Leyland diesel lorry stowed on deck abreast number 3 hatch while another is being swung aboard abreast number 2 hatch. The Nuddea is berthed starboard side to the wharf and only her forward part, from number 2 hold to the face of her superstructure, is in the picture.
