Three local fishermen standing up to their necks in the coastal shallows at Malacca using large hand-held nets to do estuarine push net fishing for Acetes shrimps. The nets are fixed to two bamboo poles which are braced to form a large V shape, the point of which is held by the fisherman. The net is lowered into the water and pushed along as the man walks forward.
