Four children standing in the water fishing alongside local boats in the state of Trengganu, on the east coast of Malaysia. One of the boys is holding up a small fish for the benefit of the photographer. Two wooden built local boats are in the left background. One has a pair of pointed paddles resting on the side of the boat and the other is carrying a cargo of fish and it has a paddle inboard. It also has a thwart pierced for a mast to be stepped.
