A starboard side view, taken looking aft from on shore close alongside the bow, of the Orient Line passenger liner Orion (1935) backing away from Circular Quay, Sydney, N.S.W. The quay is densely packed with well-wishers and covered with paper streamers and very many more streamers are hanging down from the liner's side. A tug is near the stern to help the ship out into the main channel. A vertical format negative. A museum copy negative of a photographic print in the P & O Collection.
